Estate residence designed c. 1930 in the Georgian style by William Lawrence Bottomley on originally 8 acres of land for Graham Bethune Grosvenor {capitalist, industrialist}. Grovesnor served as assistant to the president of Pan-Am Airways, vice president of Aerial Express, president of Aviation Corp, Fairchild Aviation Corp., and vice president of Otis Elevator Co.

By 1948, his widow had relocated to Valentine Road in Old Brookville and then to "Manhas" on Old Courthouse Road in New Hyde Park by 1951. There is reportedly still an old chicken coop buried in the woods behind the house.
