Pampus VOR (VHF Omnidirectional Range transmitter) 52°20'05.14"N 005°05'31.78"E

Pampus VOR serves as one of the en-route VORs for flights in the Netherlands (specifically: the VOR/DME approach for runway 27). Some eastbound Standard Instrument Departures (SID) from Schiphol go overhead this VOR, which is named after Pampus island (about 2km NNE). Pampus island has a fort used in the defense line of Amsterdam.
