  Having visited the restaurant many times before and after March 1994, And talking to the family I would add: The Vu family only operated the restaurant for a couple of years after 1994, Some one else operated it for a few years after, maybe relatives or friends, As the events devestated the family. Not wanting to add to their pain, I ask few questions. However the restaurant was closed for over a year before Katrina. In 2008/2009 The Restaurant was being renovated, One of the vietnamese men doing the renovation told me that the restaurant would be divided into 2-3 shops.
