Formerly St. Anthony Hosp. Bought by Ohio State University. The tower building is round and has wedge-shaped patient rooms around a central core with elevators and mechanicals. Located at Hawthorne & Taylor -- but through some sleight-of-mapping it has a street address of 1492 East Broad St. Some years ago, hospital admisistrators decided an East Broad St address would bring in more patients, so they bought the houses along the west side of Taylor between the hospital and East Broad, tore down the houses, and built a low wall all the way to East Broad. (The wall is interrupted where streets pass through, but it is distinctive throughout its length.) Presto! The hospital got its new address!
