  • Adrigole Harbour is a natural harbour with a narrow entrance and is safe refuge for boats in all but the most severe wind conditions. There are six yellow visitors buoys at the north end of the harbour. Orthons Island is a small island in the middle of the harbour. On the east side of the harbour there is a pier with a slip. Road access is by a narrow side road which joins the main Glengarriff-Castletownbere road at the Adrigole GAA sports pitch. There's a mussel farm on the left just inside the harbour entrance. Marine wildlife includes a seal colony at the north end of the harbour.
