Many residents run or walk this long stretch of (sand trail) which is 1/4 of mile long

This long stretch was owned by the Southern Pacific Railroad back when this area was all orange groves.

  • This was part of the SP Tustin Branch, which ran from Tustin Junction, through Villa Park, and ended in Tustin. Mostly abandoned, part of it is still being used by BNSF. http://www.abandonedrails.com/article.asp?id=253
