pier, interesting place
"The origin of this pier reportedly dates back to 1812. In the early 1930s harbour work resulted in a new 1300 foot concrete pier replacing the earlier 600 foot structure. This pier was opened on July 13th 1933 by the Prince of Wales, later King Edward VIII.
This pier is popular fishing spot at present, unfortunately the refreshment outlets on the pier were closed."
