Dzerzhinsky City District (Russian: Дзержи́нский райо́н) is one of the city districts of Perm. According to the results of the 2002 Census, Dzerzhinsky City District is fourth by the size of population with 153,403 inhabitants (constituting 15.2 % of population of Perm). The population wen down from 163,012 recorded in the 1989 Census.

The city district is called after Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky, a Soviet revolutionary and politician famous as the founder of the Bolshevik secret police, the Cheka, later known by many names during the history of the Soviet Union. The agency became notorious for large-scale human rights abuses, including torture and mass summary executions, carried out especially during the Red Terror and the Russian Civil War.
