we carry new and back issue comics, trade paperbacks and the Wizard Price Guide and offer a 20% discount without the need for having an on-hold "pull-service" subscription - but that is available too, if one prefers. We also offer this service without the need of any annual "membership" fee, which is so popular with our Bay Area competitors. We carry CCG products such as Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh as well as the popular Clix games such as Mage Knight, Hero Clix and Mech Warrior. Our gaming selection is constantly expanding to meet the needs of our growing customer base. We carry thousands of 1940s, 50s, 60s and 70s back issues as well as newer recent releases from the 80s to present, plus comic supplies like bags, boards and boxes at reasonable prices. We also carry some of the newest action figures, some older rare figures, a wide selection of scarce videos such as Dr. Who, The Avengers, and some Anime among others. We have hard-to-find slipcase editions, t-shirts, and magazines as well as paperbacks, hard backs and graphic novels. The owner, Pat Potter, has been with
Comic World since the summer of 1982, and has owned the store since December of 1992.
We're open noon until 7 Monday through Friday, 10am - 7pm Saturday and 12 - 4 on Sunday.
