The land for this development was sold and subdivided by the Tickvicka family in the mid-1960s. Lester and Nick Tickvika's father bought this farmland in 1929 from Mr Ackerman. Mr Ackerman came into it by marriage to Miss Girth. Miss Girth inherited it from her father in the 1800's.

  • This neighborhood of homes were developed by a builder named Kay in 1967.
  • I made a mistake editing it. Remington Estates and Japanese Framing area are not the same. Article is locked now and incorrect.
  • Lived here for a long time. Never found pottery or anything japanese in the soil and I garden in my yard. This was the old Lester and Nick Tikvicka farm who are not Japanese. This article is incorrect.
  • Lester and Nick Tickvika's father bought this farm in 1929 from Mr Ackermans. Mr Ackerman got it by marriage to Miss Girth. Miss Girth got it from her father in 1800's. No Japanese farmer were here in World War 2. Must be thinking of someplace else, not here.
