The Alpha Chi chapter of Alpha Chi Omega was chartered at Butler in 1925. Its annual event, Frisbee Fling, helps support the Julian Center, which provides counseling, safe shelter, and education for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and other life crises. Alpha Chi brought the international event Walk a Mile in Her Shoes to Butler's campus. Both men and women wear high heels for a one-mile walk that raises awareness about domestic violence and raises funds for the Julian Center.
