TD Garden / North Station (Boston, Massachusetts)

TD Garden is an indoor arena in Boston, Massachusetts. Designed by Ellerbe Becket, it was constructed from April 1993 to September 1995 at a cost of $160,000,000. The Garden has an all-seater capacity of 17,500 with 104 luxury boxes and has a height of 162 ft (49 m) and a floor area of 755,000 sq ft (70,141 sq m).

The Garden is the home of the Boston Bruins of the NHL, the Boston Celtics of the NBA, and the Boston Blazers of the NLL (since 2009). An earlier incarnation of the Boston Blazers competed here in the MILL from 1996-1997. It is the site of the annual Beanpot college hockey tournament and the annual Hockey East championships. Events hosted in the Garden include the NCAA Men's Frozen Four in 1998 and 2004, the 2001 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the 1998 NHL All-Star Game, the 2004 Democratic National Convention, WWE Wrestlemania XIV in 1998, King of the Ring 2000, Royal Rumble in 2003 and 2011, Summerslam 2006, and Survivor Series 2008.

The arena was originally named Shawmut Center, but was renamed FleetCenter before its opening. The name was changed to TD Banknorth Garden in 2005 and TD Garden in 2009. In early 2005, the arena conducted auctions on eBay to sell one-day naming rights 30 different times.

The Sports Museum is housed inside the Garden.

The ground floor of the Garden is also the "North Station" rail center.
