Opened in October 1957, Peter Hay Golf Course is a 9 hole executive par 3 golf course located across the street from the famed Pebble Beach Golf Links. It is the only 9 hole par 3 golf course open to the public on the Monterey Peninsula. Whether you are working on your short game or teaching your children the game of golf, Peter Hay Golf Course has served locals and visitors alike for over 45 years.
Peter Hay Golf Course was designed and named for Peter Hay, the longtime Pebble Beach golf professional in conjunction with Jack Neville, Pebble Beach Golf Links course designer and General McClure, course designer of Bayonet Golf Course.
Standing at the top of Peter Hay Golf Course is the 30,000 pound bronze sculpture, Encircling Centuries of Excellence, created by artist Richard MacDonald, a monument dedicated to the 100th playing of the U.S. Open 2000 Pebble Beach golf championship won by Tiger Woods.
