  • The Gould-Simpson building holds *much more* than the Computer Science Department, if that was what you were superciliously alluding to, which only occupies two of the building's 10 floors as well as an additional computer lab on the ground floor. In face, this building also houses Atmospheric Sciences, Chemistry, the College of Science, Geosciences, the Institute for the Study of Planet Earth, Postal Services, and the Research Instrumentation Center. To counter the author's claims that this building has "the worst Chi" of any building in Tucson, I must say it has one of the greatest views in Tucson. It is quite inspiring. You can practically see all of the buildings on the U of A campus, and the mountains surrounding Tucson. Also, 99% of the people in this building study Science, the process of formulating and testing hypotheses through observation and experiment. I'd be more wise about my choice of generalizations if I were the author of this post.
  • My honey works here
  • What I remember most about this building was that soon after its construction the windows began to shatter and fall to the ground, necessitating the fencing off of the building and the construction of a covered walkway into the entrance in the early 1990's.
