I spent 2 years in Bettiah when I was too young at the age of 10 to 12 & my father was head of State Bank of India Bettiah Bazar. We were staying on the 1st floor of the bank building.That was possibly year of 1958-59. We were very friendly with the famility of one elderly Doctor ( Dr.Banerjee ) . His one of the sons & daughter in law were staying in UK... Can any one send news about the family ??? I used to have lot of Love for the family :: Tushar Datta ( Son of Late Tarun Chandra Dutta )
