Erawan is an Elephant in the Epic literature. Every Thais
is familiar with Erawan as literature elephant ridden by
Indra. Erawan was built as sculpture with copper as tall
as 17 storeys building. Its head weighs more than 100
tons and situates attractively at Tumbon Sumlong,
Amphur Muang, Samut Prakan Province.

The technique of construction and decoration follows
ancient Thai ingenuity which is very glamorous. The
builder plans to use area inside the body of elephant for
placing valuable art and culture of our nation.
