Star of the Sea Painted Church

 church, NRHP - National Register of Historic Places
Designed and built in 1927-28 by Father Evarist Gielen. The Star of the Sea Church was saved from lava flows advancing on Kalapana, and moved to this location. The church is in the National Register of Historic Places (#97000407).
