Four- five-story apartment house of the Archpriest KI Epiphany built in Art Nouveau style in 1903 by architect Vladimir Sherwood.

In 1997-1998, the house was completely reconstructed with the addition of a two-level penthouse with conservatory. The architects were from the 19 th workshop of Mosproekt 2 including Aleksandr Rafailovich Asadov (born 1951), Peter Zavadovsky, Elena Chastnova, and engineers EV Kondrashov, Churikov.

From the front yard there is hanging a glazed bay window tapering down in the form of a of a truncated cone. The project was completed for the owner of recruiting companies Kupchina Anatoly Naumovich (1947-2008).

This reconstruction in protected area evoked a mixed reaction of Muscovites.
