Five coast artillery position finding stations, including a command post for the "Hulu" Gun Group.

The original fire control station, the furthest up on Pu'u O Hulu was built in 1923 and served Fort Williston's 16-inch guns.

The next two stations were built in the late 1920s. One station served the two 12-inch long-range guns at Battery Closson, Fort Kamehameha while the other served the railway mortars on the Leeward Coast. During WWII, these stations were reassigned to the Browns Camp 8-inch railway battery and Battery Salt Lake, Aliamanu Crater respectively.

The fourth fire control station was built in 1934 to serve the two 16-inch guns at Battery Hatch, Fort Barette and reassigned to Battery Arizona, Kahe Point in 1945. It is located just below the original 1923 station.

The fifth fire control station was completed in 1940. The command post provided tactical control of the 8-inch railway guns at Browns Camp and Waianae, Battery Awanui's 155-mm guns at Browns Camp, the 5-inch and 155-mm guns at Nanakuli, and the 155-mm guns at Kahe Point.
