banswara is developing at a very fast rate...but due to lack of railway track, we are not able to see a dramatic change in the infrastructure. people of banswara are very frinedly, but you should take enough care to not to hurt their sentiments :)... life here is very smooth..
there are some good places to go and visit...like Tripura Sundari Temple, Kagdi Pick-up Veer, Mahidam (ofcourse, you will really love this one...specially when all the 16 gates of Mahidam Opens, the view cannot be described in words... come here and feel it...), Andeshwar Jain Temple, Naugama Jain Temple (a replica of Sammed ShikharJi, The Great Pilgrim of Jains, is made here) and lots more... so what are you waiting for... come and see a different INDIA...!

A Town of 100 island.....................wow. Banswara is a city in Banswara District in south Rajasthan in India. Banswara princely state was founded by Maharawal Jagmal Singh. It gets the name from dominance of "bans" or bamboo forests. It is also known as 'City of Hundred Islands', due to presence of numerous islands in the Mahi River, which flows through Banswara.

hi friends ,Banswara(vagad) is nice and beautiful city, here's custom, culture , festival , environment , education etc. is very good. Apart from railway all facility are available here ,Banswara's people is very hard working and simple living ,each community people living like brother and sister. hare very nice visiting place and every one should visit once . i love Banswara because no one place like Banswara in world.
