An old Victorian hall, 1903-4 by architects Ewan Harper & James A. Harper, which used to be the venue for classical concerts however it is used by shops and offices. Mainly small shops as the room is restricted. There are numerous luxury restaurants. The central portion of the hall consists of a red brick tower with CENTRAL HALL written vertically down it. A man who was under the influence of drugs and alcohol accessed the building and jumped off the tower, plummeting to his death. Safety and security was increased at the building and no problems have been outlined since.
