O'Donovan Rossa Bridge (Irish: Droichead Uí Dhonnabháin Rosa) connects Inns Quay and Upper Ormond Quay on the north bank of the River Liffey to Merchant's Quay and Wood Quay on the south.
Built in 1813 and opened in 1816, it was originally known as Richmond Bridge after the Viceroy, the Duke of Richmond. It was renamed in 1923 for Jeremiah O'Donovan Rossa (1831-1915) a Fenian and member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood.
