Roman Forum (Plovdiv)

This place is the largest Roman forum estate within the territory of Bulgaria. On it was concentrated the administrative, economical, cultural and religious life of the antique city.
Originally build in the second century it served as seat of the city's council. Later it was rebuild as theater.
