Northrup Park offers a variety of recreational opportunities. The 103 acre park offers adult softball fields, youth baseball fields, girls softball fields, T-ball fields, a covered playground unit, concession stands, sand volleyball courts, a covered basketball court, a horseshoe pit, picnic units with grills, and public restrooms. The basketball pavilion may be rented out for private parties and activities as well as for practices.

Grand Slam Batting Cages is located in the park. The batting cages are owned and operated by a contracted vendor. They offer clinics, individual and group instruction for batting and pitching.
