Baltimore institution since 1993 known for its giant pink flamingo on the front. Presents a campy atmosphere and it helps to dress up in appropriate costume prior to dining. Got in trouble for attempting to trademark the word Hon and was subjected to wide protests by city residents and businesses.

In 2011 Cafe Hon was declared a Nightmare Kitchen by Chef Gordon Ramsay and was featured in the 6th season of that show. This is one of the more prominent restaurants to ever appear on Kitchen Nightmares.

  • A renowned restaurant that is more for tourists and suburbanites wanting to feel like a Hampdenite (What ever that means). The restaurant has an array of American dishes and a bar adjoins the dining area. Often busy, the service can be harried and the prices on the high end.
