Smyrna Park is Ceres' second largest park with 28 acres. Smyrna Park was named after the Smyrna Fig, a type of fig that grows in the area. The park is located at Moffet and Fowler Roads in Ceres. The park facilities include: a large covered picnic shelter and three (3) smaller picnic areas. All of the picnic areas have barbeques. The park features a playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball courts, and a four-field softball complex. Reservations are taken for the covered picnic area, as well as the three (3) smaller picnic areas, the horseshoe pits and the softball fields. All other areas are on a first come, first serve basis.
