A neighborhood of single family ranch style homes, mostly built around 1950.
Our Bel Air Civic Association meets quarterly, and we have an active Neighborhood Watch, a small church, a wooded stream (Tripps Run), and three wooded parks: Sleepy Hollow (stream), Bel Air (B-ball & J-gym), and White Gardens.
Community shopping is 2 blocks north, on Arlington Blvd(US50) and shopping malls about a mile east and west.
Fire/ EMS stations 18, 8, & 28 are within 2-4 minutes and trauma center within 4 minutes.
Most of our current sharing of neighborhood information & activity is by nextdoor.com
