"Varosha" is an ancient quarter in Lovech, which is the main part of the Architectural and Historical Reserve "Varosha".
The architectural and historical reservation Varosha covers the entire old part of the town of Lovech along the right bank of the river Osam. Part of Varosha is also a series of buildings on the left bank of the river – near the Covered Bridge and the Staratesh park.
The old residential section of Lovech – Varosha, was declared an architectural and historical reservation in 1968.
The basic part of the architectural legacy of the region is related to the construction during the Revival, mainly in the period from the beginning of the 19th century to the 1970s.
