Widely regarded as the scummiest licenced establishment in the South, if not the whole of the UK, and largely resembles a large 'bucket' of alcohol, vomit and faeces in which drinkers 'swim' around in (bring wellies), usually naked to boot (on Wednesdays, mandatory for sports teams).

Beware of snakebite ripcurrents, usually located in and around the dancefloor. If you manage to walk in and avoid having various drinks (this term is used rather broadly, since most of them can usually be found to have bits floating in them) spilled over you by vast numbers of drunken Jesterers, consider yourself very, very lucky.

  • Jesters may not be the best looking club, however it does have a great atmosphere and if out with a large group of friends there is nowhere better. It also can't be beaten on price, with £2 quad vods in happy hour in Clowns and the ultra-cheap Monday nights (unfortunately this night is crammed with freshers in the first uni term of each year). Go for the friendly atmosphere and drunken banter and ignore the snakebite covering the floor.
  • This place is a load of donkey shite, I hate students!!! bunch of light weights! And I lost my Friggin wallet there and jesters is to cheap and cant afford a bloodly landline!! Shame on you southampton!! Go to basingstoke much better! haha. Barnsley barnslay!!
