The Pike-Pine Corridor - Commercial & Nightlife District
Running from Interstate 5 all the way to 15th Ave E the Pike/Pine corridor is named after the two parallel east west streets that form it.
The corridor is home to numerous bars both gay and straight, lots of restaurants from Ethnic to Yuppie, and many unique independent retailers. The latter are especially found on the hill climb between the freeway and Broadway. In general, there's a little more of everything to be found on Pine (the Northern street) west of Broadway than on Pike, while the opposite is true East of Broadway.
