Bonny Noronha, fondly nicknamed as "COCONUT-MAN" by one British tourist, has maintained a neat garden full of trees bearing Coconuts, Mangoes, Love Apples (Jamb's), Chickoos, flowers etc., in this recently refurbished beach resort. Being smack on the beach it has 24/7 unrestricted access to Vijaydurg beach in the Konkan belt and it aptly derives it's name from close proximity to VIJAYDURG FORT, making this beach resort a tourist and day picnickers favorite. Along with Beach and Fort, visitors also like to visit the nearby Rameshwar Mandir which is another favorite spot due to it's historic background dating back to Shivaji's era.
