Since 1916, Park View School has remained a highly regarded educational institution within the Petworth/Park View community. Our school has continued to grow and improve to accommodate the changing needs of our students. Our standards-based curriculum provides students with a firm foundation on which to progress and excel as they move on to middle school and beyond.
The school currently has a thirty-station iMac computer lab, a highly acclaimed science lab, and computers in every classroom. Park View also participates in the prestigious Mid-Atlantic Region Japan in the School Program. Several faculty members visited Japan this past summer and are implementing an enrichment program for all students based on the principles of Japanese Education.
Park View prides itself on presenting students with a nurturing, child-centered environment that offers many opportunities to grow and feel good about learning experiences.

The school building was constructed in 1916 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
