This is the industrial area of Medias. Various companies and factories operatein this section of the city. The number of plants that work in this industrial platform was much higher before the revolution of 1989. The industrial area is crossed by railways and in its center there is even a railway station, for transportation of goods. Today, besides the factories and companies in the area, the industrial platform hosts many warehouses and is much extended as a couple of years ago.
