This metro station is a unique display of metro architecture of Soviet Union.It is situated in centre of Prague's city district Smíchov (Prague 5) in at a depth of 34,5 metres and was open on 2nd November 1985 as Moskevská (almost at the same time as open of Prazhskaya metro station in Moscow).Each wall behind trails is covered with 4 reliefs on the theme Czechoslovak-Soviet friendship.Station was completly flooded in 2002.After Velvet revolution was station renamed in agreement of neighbourhood to Anděl (Angel in English)
