On 31 March 2015 RAF Leuchars passed to control of the British Army and was renamed Leuchars Station.

  • No airshow this year, (2007) due to runway resurfacing.
  • I was at a train station trying to get a bus into St. Andrews and there where jets flying from this airport really low over the station. Got some great photos.
  • Leuchars is no longer home to the Tornado F3 as they retired on 22nd March 2011. Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft are now based there. Phantom XV586 was transferred from Leuchars to RNAS Yeovilton.
