UNIPROMET is a joint-stock company with a tradition beginning in 1958. The company appears for the first time under the current name in 1976.
Each year UNIPROMET increases its share in the local market with the intention of becoming a local leader in the area of construction materials trade including additional decorative and procurement residential and business equipment.
UNIPROMET has gained a strong reputation as a company that offers the most accessible buying conditions in terms of low prices and quality as well as overall client satisfaction.


Territorially, UNIPROMET is located in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Until now, UNIPROMET has concentrated its business in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in general and within the three cantons in particular: The Sarajevo Canton, the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Middle-Bosnian Canton.
It is our intention to expand to other areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina.


UNIPROMET's developmental and business strategy is based on both current business structure and its horizontal-vertical expansion. Building on staff skills development and further education, UNIPROMET intends to expand to completely new business areas.


The UNIPROMET Group is currently comprised of four companies. In partnership with two companies, UNIPROMET has a dominant stake in the manufacturing company 'Žica' d.d. Sarajevo that produces wire allocated for different technical purposes as well as general wire products. Building on its current trade and manufacturing potentials, significant developmental intentions pertain to the area of manufacturing, metal and timber trade.


From a commercial standpoint, UNIPROMET operates several business centres:

* A contemporary business-trade centre in Sarajevo spread over 15 000 m2 is one of the largest in the local market category. In the Sarajevo Canton, UNIPROMET owns three additional sales centres, employing more than 120 workers. The planned income for 2006 exceeded 20 000 000 €.

The UNIPROMET Group owns shopping centres in Travnik (1000 m2) and Jelah near Tešanj (5.000 m2).

* UNIPROMET owns and holds stakes in significant closed-space facilities (ca. 50.000 m2) that could be used for different business purposes (storing, manufacturing, sales, offices, etc.).

UNIPROMET is open to and dynamically invites various partnership initiatives and arrangements including such projects as facility rentals and joint ventures.

UNIPROMET successfully supplies the increasingly greater number of construction companies in the Sarajevo Canton with all kinds of construction materials adding to the list installation materials, final-touch materials, equipment and furniture. In addition, UNIPROMET participates and responsibly fulfills its tender obligations towards numerous clients in the public sector.


During 2006, UNIPROMET started operating a timber centre that will make UNIPROMET a leading supplier in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will supply all furniture manufacturers with goods necessary for furniture manufacturing (ranging from various quality timber sheets, design and glue, to ribbons and all kinds of fittings).


In partnership with domestic and foreign companies, UNIPROMET intends to participate in the building of a large-sizebusiness-trade centre in CBD Sarajevo.
