Berrylands is a district of Surbiton in the London Borough of Kingston-upon-Thames. Its name implies 'land where berries grow' but in actually fact it means 'land on a hill' as it came from 'beorg' which means literally 'barrow' or just 'hill'. Most of the population are commuters who use either the local train station or the one in central Surbiton which has a more frequent train service.
