Waldensians, Waldenses or Vaudois are names for a Christian spiritual sect of the later Middle Ages, Waldensians were followers of Peter Waldo ,descendants of which still exist in various regions.
Over time, the denomination joined the Genevan or Reformed Calvinist branch of Protestantism.
