In this temple, Punkuni Uthiram is a big and grand festival organised by Achary Community. The temple was renovated and developed by M/s. Sudlai & Sons Co.Pvt.Ltd,Coimbatore, whose is in lead manufacture of textiles machineries in India.
By the grace of Sastha, the villagers benefited and availed job opportunity from the industrialist.
