Thathiengarpet is the next main city after namakkal.People from nearby villages depend on this city for their daily needs.This city is well known for it's once weaving business and this city was one of the largest hand loomed "Dothi" producer in the whole south india.This place has been gradully transforming from a village to a developed city.People here in this city are very polite and well mannered.This city is sorrounded by farms,temples,hills and lakes.Anyone who visits the place can experience the calmness and can see the greenery till horizon.

Of course, people are very nice and polite but highly talkative and 10% job done is blown out as 1000%

They are really capable of doing many/good things, talented people but they don't realise their inherent strength but remain adamant to chang and accept new things in life. Any how they are a special class fof people. Hat off to them!
