City of Westminster (London)

The City of Westminster is a London Borough located in Central-West London and is considered a seperate city from the original City of London to the east.

It is generally considered the centre of modern-day London, and contains within its boundaries the seats of British power and the majority of London's famous sights, including the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, The West End, Oxford Street and Hyde Park.

The Houses of Parliament are the headquarters of the British Government. The City of Westminster covers a larger area than Westminster itself, stretching from Kilburn in the North to the Thames in the South, from Hyde Park in the West to Charing Cross in the East.
