Camp Bondsteel is a major United States Army base located near Ferizaj in the Eastern part of Kosovo which serves as the home of US Army personnel under NATO Kosovo Force Command. The base serves as the headquarters for the NATO Kosovo Force's (KFOR) Multinational Battle Group East (MNBG-E)

Named after Vietnam War Medal of Honor recipient United States Army Staff Sergeant James L. Bondsteel, the 955 acre base was constructed in 1999 by the 94th Engineer Construction Battalion and 568 Combat Support Engineer Company under the direction of the Army Corps of Engineers. Built primarily of semi-permanent structures, the camp can accommodate up to 7,000 active duty US Army personnel at its maximum capacity, though it is usually manned by approximately 1,400 US Army soldiers during routine operations. The facility is equipped with 52 helicopter hardstands on its Western perimeter for air access by both US and NATO forces.
