This upmarket coffee shop and restaurant sells delicious home-made cakes and biscuits downstairs and offers a small menu of international cuisine upstairs in what looks a bit like a floor of a Venetian palazzo, but with views of the Riga Esplanade instead of the Grand Canal. A business lunch is available on weekdays, but the best reason to come here is for the excellent breakfasts from Japanese nori omelettes to smoked salmon Benedict served 08:00 - 11:00, Sat, Sun 10:00 - 14:00.
