This temple is very old one. Supposed to be built by Raja Raja Narendra. But this temple was in dilapidated condition around 1960's. Then my grandfather (Kallidingi ex-karnam garu, Kothapalli Durga prasad rao garu, re-built this temple. In fact my name "Sri-Rajasekhar " is derived from this temples original name 'Sri Rajaselingeswara Swami". Last time I visited Kalidindi was when I was really small around 4 years old, that means around 1979, when my grand father expired. I never visited this town but always heard about this great town from my father Sri-Venkateswara Sarma, Kothapalli. I would like to visit this town may be in coming one or two years when I visit India.
