Yerwada is one of the oldest historical places in Pune. Many rich and famous personalities used to stay here and one can find small palace like structures, which were multistoried. Agakhan Palace (famous for Gandhi family), Mobis Palace, Thakercey Bunglow are one of them. Yerwada market is one of the oldest markets and still existent today. So are central jail and the mental hospital.

Now a days, many new developments are coming up, including a few IT companies and 3/5 star hotels, since this area is very close to the Lohegaon airport.YERAWADA!!
