Kennington, postal area SE11, is a diverse residential, business, recreational and cultural area with many buildings of architectural and historical interest. Includes the Oval cricket ground, most of Kennington Park and St Mark's Church but does not include (though is adjacent to) Imperial War Museum, Lambeth Palace, Albert Embankment, Vauxhall stations. Boundaries are with SE1, SE17 SW8 and , only just, with SW9 near St Mark's Church.
