There had been a lot of changes around over the years. There used to be one Martin rail line going through this place. All around there were marshy land..with God knows what lurking there. Then things started changing. Some enterprising people, who had to leave their home and hearth in the then East Bengal after the partition came ane populated the area. They dug ponds,filled up low lying areas, planted trees....and it became a beautiful place. |
