'Bustling metropolis' What is left after the sole industry leaves en masse from an isolated hamlet? One store, one bar, one school, Tiny churches so the residents can pray for salvation and the blessing of moving somewhere else. Anywhere else. Bored kids, Methedrine cookers, marijuana growers, isolated people who want to be left alone for one reason or another. Kids get into drugs as soon as possible. Area joke about falls city is that it is the Oregon version of the movie 'Deliverance', and there is so much inbreeding that mutants make up much of the populace.

  • Whoever wrote this message was not kidding. Even Dallas, Oregon looks down on this place, amid rampant rumours of a KKK presence, cults, cattle mutilation, and an astonishing meth problem. I have had a gun pulled on me in Falls City for no reason whatsoever.
