  • Alipore Social Welfare Trust (A S W T) was registered on 30th of November 1994 with following aims and objectives, at the Registrar of Charity Commissioner's Office, Surat. Aims and Objectives: i) To carry out various activities for the welfare of public, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, race, religion or economic status, ii) To construct and run a hospital for the well-being of the people, iii) To organize health camps, iv) To impart Educational aids in the form of scholarship, books, fees, etc. to the economically weaker sections of the society, v) Activities for the upliftment of small villages, vi) Other activities as deemed necessary by the trust. Having setup these aims and objectives, the trustees went ahead with establishing a Charitable Dispensary. Then after getting good response from everywhere, a clinic was started, namely, Jawahar Nursing Home, with the provision for admitting five inpatients on a day-stay basis. There were two Resident Doctors. ASWT is proud to have one male Doctor and one female Doctor on resident basis. On weekly-basis E.N.T. surgeon Dr. Sanjay .P. Shah visits Jawahar Nursing Home, since its inception, for which the organisers are thankful to him. All the services rendered are FREE OF COST for the poor sections of the society, irrespective of caste, creed, colour, race or religion. Patients with a good economical status have to pay a reasonable (affordable) fees. A S W T also organised Eye camps, where optical lenses were distributed, free eye check-ups were done, Cataract Operations were performed Free of Cost, for the poor and needy patients. Jawahar Nursing Home and Charitable Dispensary also provides medicines at the lowest rate. The out-patients and in-patients turnout encouraged the trustees and the elders to come out with the idea of setting up a big general hospital or a healthcare with latest facilities.

  • Alipore hospital provides excellent health care provisions and services, it is a registered charity, it has a dialysis centre with 5 machines. It has made a real diffrence to quality of life of so many people.
  • I find Alipore Hospital very useful for my village and all remote towns and villages have been looked after by the hospital Mobile Medical Unit Vehicle provides full medical treatments at the doorsteps of poor villages Alipore Hospital has super specialist doctors as well as specialist consultant drs. We all wish the organisers the bests.
