  • This building is used for storage but is still known as "The Old Aircraft Hangar". The strip of land to the south-west of it looks rather like a runway and when you are on the ground there, it does have a feel of being an old air base. Anyone know more ?
  • The aviation connection is solely with Newhaven, and the building is listed (I think) because of it. Land to SW is site of Wimbledon West (marshalling) Yard & pre-dates the Wright Bros. Some of the tracks still visible in places, closed in.....early 70's?
